The 2018 van was purchased in Nov. 2018. There wee none on the lot with the things I wanted. It was found at another dealership and had running boards which were not on the list of items I wanted. The running boards are fine for getting in - but are miserable for getting out. When getting out, they are not wide enough to put your foot on - and you have to stretch your leg to reach over the top of the running board. It makes it very difficult to get out of the vehicle. And your pant leg gets dirty from rubbing on the running board. I asked at the dealership and they said from $400 to %500 to have them taken off. It is a very unsatisfactory situation.

This recall is for aftermarket replacement rear window glass produced by Vitro Automotriz. Certain rear window glass may not have been properly tempered. If the window breaks, the glass may separate into large pieces instead of very small ones.
Note: This is a voluntary recall that is not being conducted under the requirements of the Motor Vehicle Safety Act.

The company will notify consumers by mail and instruct them to inspect the designation code marked on the rear window glass.
